Private Home Sales (PHS) Company

It is our belief that due to remarkable progress in technology and a better informed consumer, there is a developing trend of selling privately rather than using the conventional real estate methods. PHS has developed a new concept to help people who chose to sell their homes, cottages, properties and businesses privately, rather than paying expensive real estate commissions. We believe that this concept will quickly become a much more viable and desirable solution for people wanting to sell and/or buy properties. PHS is a professional, well-organized business whose goal is to offer an efficient alternative to selling real estate. Another goal of PHS is to build and expand its presence throughout Ontario, by choosing local representatives to develop and promote PHS in their respective, exclusive areas. Members will work with existing PHS members from other areas, with the common goal of providing Ontario with the most complete and successful marketing service for selling property directly.

Responsibilities of a PHS Member

- A commitment of a minimum of 20 hours per month for appointments with customers, deliveries to outlets, and marketing. Within six months, representatives will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of the PHS concept.

- Develop and ensure that all PHS retail outlets have a good supply of the current month's issue of Private Home Sales.

- Acquire, in a professional manner, residential and commercial display ads for the publication and the website.

- Book appointments and meet with new customers, assisting them in composing ads and explaining the selling process, as required. Personally deliver Seller's Kit to new customers and pick up cheques, ads and photos.

- The representative will be responsible for ensuring PHS head office receives all new ads and changes to existing ones in as quickly as possible (preferably by email). The representative will also be expected to keep a record of his/her customers' ads and payments.

- Although not necessary, representatives are encouraged to use various methods of soliciting new business in their area, at their own expense. However, all types of advertising or marketing on behalf of PHS are subject to home office approval.
